Attack teammates, possibly inflicting Stun or Bleed.Īfter a while, the bloodlust will fade, returning the curse to its passive state. The hero can also randomly do the following things: ![]() ![]() Here is where the true power of the curse is revealed: People don't like it because it adds an extra element to manage in a game where the odds are already stacked against you, and in a way I agree, it basically adds a clock where after a certain point you might run out of Blood and you'll be forced to try and clear an Epic quest to try and save your heroes from succumbing to the infection. If a Craving hero is given The Blood, they enter Bloodlust state. The new content itself is where players are divided, The Crimson Curse is arguably the most annoying thing about the game, it's basically Vampirism, infected characters suffer stat penalties, at later stages of the infection they sometimes act on their own, and if they stay infected for too long they just straight up die, the only way to delay the infection is to feed them vials of The Blood, collectible items you find while fighting the new Bloodsucker enemies or doing repeatable quests in the Crimson Court, and the only way to straight up remove it is to clear an Epic quest in the Crimson Court, or kill the Fanatic and use the Cure he drops. ![]() It's subjective I guess, the Districts system is wonderful, helps sustain the hamlet more effectively and lets you survive wipes that would have normally crippled you financially, the new hero is great too, a little on the difficult side, but a healer/tank hybrid is definitely a sweet addition to the team.
